I know these are long overdue, but here are a few shots of our home after the box chaos and unloading a few wedding gifts. I was a bit surprised when I began visiting Minnesota in that there are a ton of townhomes around! It seems to be the rage :) and for now, this 2 bedroom/1 1/2 bath townhome is our HOME. Hopefully soon we will have a bit more room!
Yes, our vehicles are almost the same! I still have my Texas plates, but that will change soon. I studied the Minnesota Driving Manual and made an "A" on my Driving Test! Hooray! I am still waiting for the official driving license to come in the mail...my first step to legally becoming Minnesotan.
We'll begin downstairs on our tour. Jason had hung some of Mallory's artwork on the walls with masking tape, so I thought I would make it look a bit more professional by putting it in frames! I think her art table/corner turned out just perfect!
Here is a closer look at some of her artwork.
Another view of the living room.
Play area in the living room.
Downstairs Half Bath - does it any of it look familiar to you?!

The kitchen is still a work in progress. We just got tired of trying to find room for everything! It is a place where we spend most of our time, so it is definitely hard to decorate! We spent the first two weeks here eating every meal outside on the patio - the weather has been gorgeous!

Jason collects Magnets from many of the places he visits - I have no clue where mine are packed to add to the collection!

Our Bedroom Upstairs

A bit messy - but this is the girl's closet - don't worry, it's very organized now! I never dreamed I'd have a closet full of little girls clothes at this stage in my life! :) I'm loving it though!
The girl's bedroom - Dark Brown Blackout Curtains due to naps and it staying so bright so late. The daylight hours have definitely been changing lately - winter should be interesting!

Upstairs Office/Play Area - Great views of an open field, coyotes and beautiful sunsets!

It's definitely been an adventure since we arrived to Minnesota as a new family. The storage unit is still packed and stacked rather high, filled with all my teaching things, furniture, and a ton of other stuff! We were blessed with so many amazing wedding gifts, and I'm hoping soon we will be living in a place where we can use everything!
